The National Strictly Swing Tour (West Coast Swing) is a brand new tour being developed by Dance America. This Tour will be launched at the 2008 Tampa Bay Classic (www.tampabayclassic.com).  All of the rules for competitions and competitors will be posted in the upcoming weeks and announced at various swing events around the country.

Event Directors/Organizers who wish to submit an event for membership on the Tour should contact Dance America by email:
Phil@danceamerica.net. Member qualifications and guidelines will be published by August 15th, 2008. The board for the NSST will only accept 12 events for this Tour. 

Our first year will be launched at this year's Tampa Bay Classic. We will also end the Tour each year at the Tampa Bay Classic with the cash awards and trophies being presented to the Champions.

Rankings will be posted monthly on this website for all competitors who register with the NSST. An annual fee of $10.00 per competitor will be collected to offset the cost of tracking and posting results and rankings. 

In addition to the NSST (12 member tour) Dance America will provide a points system and tracking system for all Strictly West Coast Swing Competitors who participate in the Strictly West Coast Swing divisions of sanctioned events. These events must be sanctioned and meet the requirements and follow the rules and guidelines of the National Strictly Swing Association.  

Our goal is to provide dancers who wish to compete as a couple in a lead and follow competition, an opportunity to develop their skills in a format that also ranks them against other dancers while giving them a chance to win prize money and the National Title.
